Eric Wishbone and the Catastrophic Consequences is Eric’s second adventure. A year later, in a small town called Vermington, the evil Mayor D’Ratte is forcing the town’s waste into the ground on an industrial scale in order to generate free electricity. Who would have thought forcing rubbish into the earth would lead to catastrophic consequences? By the time Miss Isle makes her appearance all is not what it seems and the mayor’s Army of Geddon has grown fat on the town’s garbage. It is ready to rise and conquer…and Eric Wishbone must save the country from evil and tyranny again.
Delighted to share news that Eric Wishbone and the Catastrophic Consequences is done and dusted – a sequel to Eric Wishbone and the Frozen Earth. Here is a reminder of ‘Frozen Earth’ before I post the blurb about ‘Catastrophic Consequences’…
Two Eric Wishbone books!
The first is Eric Wishbone and the Frozen Earth in which a boy called Eric Wishbone saves the word from being frozen forever by his head teacher. Her name is Miss Isle and uses mind-controlling ice cream to bring the country under her power – apart from Eric Wishbone and his friends who (with the help of a talking Solar Bear from the other side of the sun), finally defeat her and her attempts at world domination.
Almost there with the new Eric Wishbone story…going underground for this one!
Great news is that Eric Wishbone is becoming a local favourite – I attended another school event locally and children (and parents) saying how much they’re enjoying the mad characters in the book.
Another school visit planned before Easter and one further afield after Easter 🙂
In between, I’m writing Eric’s next adventure although I’m hoping to keep the details secret until book launch day. I can say that there are more than a couple of mad characters blocking Eric’s path to a quiet life…although secretly he enjoys it really!
Feeling a lot of happiness after taking Eric Wishbone on school visits to 3 different schools this month. The children have been so inspiring and creative! They seem to like the book too! We’ve concentrated on developing new characters and weaving those into a story, and also story structure which is quite difficult when you’re in yrs 4, 5, 6 at primary school. More planned for next month – in between getting my head down and completing the first draft of the next Eric Wishbone story! Bye for now.
Lots more ways to read my book!

Time to get cracking on the next one … bye for now.
Available today as an eBook for download to Kindle – iPads and other eReaders coming soon. Also, a paperback version is coming soon too for those, who, like me, still go slightly dizzy from smelling the crisp freshness of a ‘real’ book 🙂
