BeatBox

My ten year old son has taken up beatboxing. “I’m a beat boxer, Daddy!” He started yesterday and already sees his career on stage, in lights, on the talk shows. Can’t knock him for excising his creative urges so here’s an ode to his pursuit.

My son’s a beatboxer

Punching rhythm and base

Boom!

Shukka-crrsh-crrsh!

Rocksha!

Sees it as a career

Says he’s never felt freer

Now he only wants to be a

Beatboxer

Punching rhythm and base

Boom!

Shukka-crrsh-crrsh!

Rocksha!

Like shadow-boxing

Where you’re up against the wall

It’s rhyming, it’s timing

It’s giving your all

To be a beatboxer

Punching rhythm and base

Boom!

Shukka-crrsh-crrsh!

Rocksha!

Neat expressions on his face

He’s a champion in the race

To be the youngest ever ace

Beatboxer

Punching rhythm and base

Boom!

Shukka-crrsh-crrsh!

Rocksha!
